PORTFOLIO DAY 2016
AP and 11th/12th grade Art2 art students have had a wonderful day at Portfolio Day Friday, Jan 15th. After the student met and showed their work to several various colleges, we enjoyed lunch at Nebu at the Devon Tower---then we were incredibly fortunate to get a SNEAK PEAK at the RICK BERRY EXHIBITION coming to Oklahoma City University! (I guess it helps that I'm married to the chair of OCU!)
Cheryl Price at OCU was kind to give us a tour and we headed over to Oklahoma Christian University with Jeff Price and David Crismon back in Edmond for another tour. The students saw various facilities in the gaming, animation, design, and fine arts---and they also got a sneak peak at the double exhibit by my husband and I are having at OC opening Jan. 27th at 4pm with an artists' talk and reception following.
We go annually to OKC's portfolio day, however there are several students and families who venture out further to the national portfolio days. Information on National Portfolio Day and location dates can be found here.
